A natural landscape artist, Llantoy was born in Lima, Peru. Despite his young age, Llantoy has been able to conciliate his love for nature with his passion for painting. Although he rarely paints oils on site, he is a wonderful photographer which allows him to capture on film the fascinating light that he tries to imitate on canvas. Educated in the best art school in Peru, the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, Llantoy sacrificed his freedom in order to acquire the necessary tools to become a great painter. The first two years of school were a struggle because most of the training was indoors. Fortunately, on his third year, when he was ready to abandon his studies, he met the well-known professor Andres Molina, who transformed his impatience to a positive driving force. Among his most important exhibitions, should be mentioned: 1997 – IX Exposición Stella Maris Association; 1996 – Exposición de los Egresados de la ENSABAP National Museum of Peru; 1995 – Muestra Integral de Artes Plásticas San Marcos National University; 1994 – Exposición en obra recoletana de solidaridad; 1990 – Exposición en el VII salón de Artes Plásticas Art Museum – Lima
